Falling Foss Waterfall
By Josh Harrison |

This morning I headed up to the North York Moors National Park to photograph some of the waterfalls. Here is one of the shots of Falling Foss Waterfall. Normally I have to use filters for long exposure shots in daylight or everything over exposes and while filters work great for long exposures they do affect the colours which are easy enough to correct in processing but I always prefer to get an image right on camera if I can so as I was there early this morning and there wasn't too much light a high aperture and low ISO allowed me to get some 4 second exposures without over exposing. For more information on Falling Foss you can read by blog on what I think are the best waterfalls of the North Yorkshire Moors.
