Fencing Gannets
By Josh Harrison |

Today I was at RSPB Bempton Cliffs hoping to capture a few shots of the Albatross which has been a resident there for a while now. Normally if I go out to find a specific animal to photograph it ends in dissapointment and today was no exception. The Albatross was a no show while I was there for the third time now so I just had a walk along the cliffs and took some shots of the more common birds at Bempton. These Gannets caught my eye as they were lit up by the afternoon sun. They perfom these fencing displays whenever one of them returns to the nest and it's always great to watch.
