Land of Fire and Ice
Iceland was the first place I ever visited outside the UK and I would happily go back every year if had the opportunity. While the volcanic landscape can be very baron and inhospitable, it can also be incredibly beautiful and surprisingly colourful from the orange sunsets to the blue ice caves and stunning green aurora! All my trips to date have been in the winter but for my next trip I'm hoping to visit in the Spring or Autumn as some of the waterfalls and other places I still want to visit can be frozen or difficult to access in the height of winter.
