Birds are undoubtly one of the most common and most varied animals on the planet. They have adapted and expanded into nearly every habitat on earth and I doubt you could ever see them all. Sadly even some of the more common species in the UK and around the world are now becomming more endangered due to habitat loss and climate change but hopefully some new initiatives and the restoration of native woodlands and other habitats can help birds and other species begin to recover. Below are some of my favourite bird images taken in Yorkshire, the UK and abroad, some of which are available to order as prints or licence as stock images.
