East Riding Stages Rally 2023

It's been a while since I photographed any motorsports, I started out taking photos at a high shutter speed in order to capture the cars in focus which did work, but it didn't look like they were going very fast in the photos unless you notice all the debris kicked up behind them as they flew past. There were quite a few photographers at the spot I'd chosen and one of them pointed out that a slower shutter speed combined with a panning shot was the best way to capture the speed in a photo, so after a bit of practise I managed to get the hang of it.

After taking photos on one of the stages I went into Beverley to take some photos of the cars in the town centre. Below are a selection of my favourite photos but I do have a lot more if anyone wants to see they can contact me for more details.
